J: When we met, we were both on the verge of turning 60.

P: More accurately, you were 59 and I was 57.

J: About to turn 58. But the point is, we were at the start of the third act of —

P: We have a generational divide. He’s a Baby Boomer. I’m Gen X.

J: We really don’t have that divide.

P: And it’s so great for the podcast to hear from two different generations. We have the views of a Boomer, and those of a Gen Xer.

J: We were born seventeen months apart. I was born in November 1963. You were April 1965.

P: OK Boomer.

J: So the show is about life’s third act.

P: That’s what I said.
